Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has a huge selection of weapons to choose from and the weapons are more modern obviously than in previous releases of the game and offer more technically advanced features . I really like the Heartbeat Sensor on the ACR and in my opinion, this rifle has the speed, accuracy and fire-power to get you through most of the games situations. I like the way you can flip it out from the side of the weapon when you need it and it´s great to track multiple targets in low visibility. The first time it is used is in the level Cliffhanger, where Roach finds himself in near white-out conditions. It´s so cool to be able to see a target coming before you can actually see the target and still know where your team is. The sensor uses an IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) system to tell the difference between friendlies and enemies. Friendlies are blue dots and enemies are white. In multi-player games, friendlies appear as green dots instead of blue and enemies appear as red dots instead of white.
In Team Play, one person with a ACR and a microphone can announce enemy locations to the other players on their team even through any obstructions, such as walls and smoke screens. It can also be use with a grenade launcher but works best for Snipers. Firing one precise shot keeps the enemies from being alerted to an attack.
It does have some drawbacks however. The sweep time is fairly slow and when used with the Grenade Launcher the middle of the screen is blocked. Enemies with Ninja will be able to easily surprise someone using the Heartbeat Sensor. This makes the Heartbeat Sensor inadvisable for Search and Destroy. This attachment is almost useless in third-person, because the player cannot see the sensor. Players using a heartbeat sensor can inadvertently give away the positions of their teammates, if the victim watches the shooter’s Kill-Cam. In single player, the display cannot be seen while using night vision goggles. The sensor will glow brightly making it impossible to see. The sensor only scans the area in front of and to the sides of the player.

Enemies behind the player cannot be detected unless they are directly behind the player. In two-player split screen, the Heartbeat Sensor is off the bottom of the screen on some guns (E.g LMG), making it almost useless, and a waste of an attachment. In three-player, only the last player will experience this. When using the Heartbeat Sensor some people rely heavily on it, allowing people using the Ninja perk to surprise attack them. Some say the Heartbeat Sensor can be a distraction at times. The sensor can be very confusing in multistory buildings as it will beep even if the opponent is on a different floor. Also, if the enemy uses a EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) the whole screen will get fuzzy.
For close range my favorite Secondary weapon in COD Modern Warfare 2 is the G18. It has a low damage but very high rate of fire making it an excellent close range weapon, but its accuracy deteriorates very quickly and players will have trouble shooting accurately past 40m from their target. It is first seen used during the snowmobile chase at the end of Cliffhanger. A true machine pistol, the Glock benefits greatly with extended mags as it chews though ammo quickly and needs to be reloaded often.

whats up ya the ak-47 is my favorite gun next to the tar-21 they both have the same stats but the tar has less recoil. and submachine guns the p-90 is the best because it has such a fat mag and good aim. . . LMG favorite is aug bar with extended mags it is xtremly deadly and accurate. . . and sniper is the intervention because it the only single shot rifle in the game and i love my quick scopes and also i love the ebr with my modded remote that shit smashes : )
and for secondaries the model akimbos are they have the longest range in a shotgun next t the spas and desert eagle as i like to say deagles
for secondaries i like the aa-12 because it has the best fire rate of all of the shotguns
my fav gun of all would be the intervention with the perks slieght of hands pro,cold blooded pro,and steady aim pro y”all should try it its fun to quick scope especily on search and destroy getin the game wining kill and if u guy have a ps3 add me hopkins56.

Preferred Nuke Classes: M21/intervention, Famas
Strategy: Find a good spot to hold ground and always make sure your team has certain areas covered. If an area is not covered or you see a team mate close by ahs recently died cover that area any way possible.
Kill/Death Ratio: Predator, Harrier, Pavelow
Preferred Classes: ANY
Strategy: Kill up to 4/5 kills then camp/cover an area until all kill streaks have been reached. After wards run and gun or continue killing the way you prefer.
